I’d like to thank David Talach and Alyssa Henry for giving me the support and autonomy to lead the Square Banking team over the last 2 years. While I’m leaving Square sooner than I would have expected, the opportunity at Pipe is too good to pass on. Square has also reinforced the credit half of my brain, and how powerful it is to be in the flow of data and in the flow of money from a risk perspective. Square has taught me so much about single-threaded leadership within an organization that has maintained enormous product velocity due to thoughtful org design and team autonomy. I am confident we have the right team and the right passion to build this future together. And after several rocket ship years, Pipe is ready for a more experienced leader to take the reins and guide the business forward. After two decades in and around credit and technology, I am confident that I have the background necessary to lead one of the most innovative companies in fintech. I am incredibly excited to have been given the opportunity to lead Pipe going forward as the team continues to build the future of alternative finance.
